"Do It!"

Capsule Synopsis

With each fleeting moment, the 1970's fade into the past.

Vinny D’Antonio stands poised at the edge of his teenage years, unaware of one undeniable fact...

His childhood is fading away as well.

Painfully shedding his youthful skin, the innocence he leaves behind has been worn beyond its usefulness.

As he ventures down the road toward adulthood, he stumbles in a broken two-step, seduced by a dangerous blend of substance abuse and vandalism.

Vinny’s turbulent teenage years are now upon him.

Drowning in the stagnant, mega-suburban culture of late 1970's New York, his struggle for “coolness” is driven by his new found crowd’s inane dares of “Do it!”

His willingness to submit to peer pressure attracts the watchful eye of Johnny Rayburn, the neighborhood tough guy. Taking Vinny under his wing, Johnny urges him to bully those he deems as "uncool".

Although Johnny's influence is a negative one, it leads Vinny to a glimmer of hope, Johnny's sister... Amy Rayburn.

Beautiful, young and insightful, Amy attempts to convince Vinny to walk the straight and narrow, capturing his heart and transforming his mind.

Inspired by her bold spirit, Vinny finds the inner strength to turn the two-step around.
